Dr. Malcolm Williams

Dr. Malcolm Williams is an ICT scholar-practitioner with over 25 years in IT Service Management, Systems Development, and Education. His extensive career spans both the public and private sectors, including key leadership roles, such as Director of Policy and eServices at the National Data Management Agency, as Guyana’s IT Manager for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, and currently as head of the Tactical Online Services unit at the University of Guyana. Dr. Williams holds a BSc in Computer Science, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Guyana, a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and a Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D.) from Arizona State University. His research focuses on technology adoption, graduate employability, and IT leadership. His doctoral research investigated the Guyanese labour market stakeholders’ perception of the employability of ICT graduates from UG as a function of their program of study.
