Garron Hansen is a Senior Vice President at Chemonics International, where he leads strategic positioning and external engagement across global development sectors. With over 20 years of experience, Garron brings deep expertise in agricultural market systems, private sector partnerships, and inclusive growth strategies.
Prior to Chemonics, Garron served as Strategy Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, managing a $187M grant portfolio. He previously led Fintrac’s Food Analytics Department, overseeing technical teams and multimillion-dollar engagements with clients such as the Millennium Challenge Corporation.
Garron is known for his ability to translate complex development challenges into actionable strategies, and for championing innovation, evidence-based decision-making, and local systems strengthening. His leadership continues to shape Chemonics’ approach to digital transformation, climate resilience, and inclusive market development. Garron holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations from the University of Virginia.
