Specifically Mr. Nandlall has in excess of twenty (20) years of experience in the energy sector in Guyana, Canada and the United States.

Throughout his career, Mr. Nandlall has demonstrated his ability to conceptualise and implement strategies in sales and revenue growth, while improving the bottom line. He strongly focuses on operational improvement to drive productivity and reduce costs, making him highly adaptable to dynamic and competitive environments.

In September, 2023, Mr. Nandlall was appointed as the Head of the Executive Management Committee of Guyana Power & Light Inc. (GPL Inc.). As the EMC Head, Mr. Nandlall shoulders a myriad of responsibilities critical to the organisation's effective functioning and strategic direction. He leads efforts to optimise operational processes, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within GPL Inc. With his extensive experience and leadership acumen, Mr. Nandlall is instrumental in steering GPL towards its mission of providing affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity to the people of Guyana
