Lilian Chatterjee is a retired diplomat having served as High Commissioner to Guyana, Ambassador to Suriname & CARICOM Ambassador (2017-2020) and High Commissioner to Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (2021-2024). Lilian started her career as a journalist and worked at the House of Commons of Canada and for several international non-governmental organizations. She joined the Canadian International Development Agency as Director General in 2003 and held multiple senior executive positions at Global Affairs Canada. She holds a Bachelor degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in International Affairs.
