Born in Suriname, Raoul spent over three decades living, studying, and working abroad before returning home. He now serves as Director of Trade on the Executive Board of the Suriname Investment & Trade Agency. He holds a Master’s degree in Business from ESCP (Oxford/Madrid) and began his career in management consulting. His professional experience spans ICT, Oil & Gas, Conglomerates, and Environmental NGOs, with roles including Project Coordinator, Financial Analyst, Business Development Manager, Operations Director, and Director of Communications and Development. A scholarship recipient, he is an alumnus of Lehigh University’s Iacocca Institute Global Village. Recent speaking engagements include the 16th ACS Summit (May 2024), IBC Suriname (Feb 2025), and SEOGS (June 2025).
